This week's edition of Smackdown did a 3.6 cable rating according to Nielsen, which is the same rating last week's show received. The highest rated segment of the show was the Royal Rumble match which pulled in a 4.4 rating.

The Rock promised last month that he would return to WWE TV, but due to his commitments to the new sequel of "Get Shorty", entitled "Be Cool", the Rock may not be able to return to the WWE like planned.

NWA TNA is close to finalizing their first three-hour PPV "Bound for Glory". This is not their first time they have announced to have a three-hour PPV, previous attempts were canceled. For some, this is an odd step for the company to take, since they will be using a $9.95 PPV to promote a $30 PPV.
