- The Survivor Series PPV in November generated a buyrate of roughly 0.73 for a PPV revenue of $5.86 million while the Armageddon PPV a month later generated a 0.40 buyrate for revenue totalling $3.23 million.

- Almost every major Japanese promotion has been trying to get WWE stars for their major shows in 2004, but generally, WWE isn't receptive to the idea. WWE is hoping to schedule one RAW and one Smackdown! tour to Japan each year but the Japanese promotions want the WWE talent to do jobs for Japanese wrestlers which is what WWE is primarily against.

- There is now a lot of talk backstage in WWE about a potential Cruiserweight division battle royal at Wrestlemania. However, it is being discussed to have the match be a "pinfall" battle royal instead of the traditional "over-the-top-rope" style since the cruiserweights fly over the top rope for many offensive moves. At this point, it is believed that it would be only a 10-man battle royal with Mysterio, Chavo, Nunzio, Jamie Noble, Billy Kidman, Tajiri and Akio definitely being a part. There were also rumors that Dean Malenko would come out of retirement to participate in the match but it doesn't appear as if that will happen.
