Vince McMahon was said to be very vocal at Monday’s talent meeting before RAW. He spoke candidly about the pro-wrestling press (i.e. us reporters) and how he despises the employees who give out information, despite forbidding them from doing so. We are told that Vince referred to wrestling journalists as “parasites” and expressed how he simply cannot ascertain why people talk to the wrestling press. He said he was extremely upset with the details that were leaked out about the first pre-RAW meeting, that we of course reported last week. He didn’t say it in too many words but made it clear that if wrestlers were discovered as disclosing information they would be terminated. This, as we’ve discussed before, is the reason why we have to quote unnamed sources. If we were to disclose our source, you could not imagine how much heat that would bring upon them.
Many other wrestlers were said to be vocal about the subject as well, in full agreement with McMahon.
The talent was told to watch the match from last week between Mark Henry and Chris Jericho. They were told to study it and learn from it, which was an odd choice, since there were so many missed spots in the match.
