There aren’t any wrestlers currently in OVW who appear to be high impact players ready to make the jump up to the WWE and out of the developmental system. The WWE has budgeted for 475,000 Royal Rumble buys as this is the first show of the year under the new budget. The new budget is much lower than in years past as most PPVs were often budgeted for 600,000 buys. One positive note is that this year the Royal Rumble PPV won’t be going up against the NFL Conference Championship like it did last year. Many undercard wrestlers were nervous during the holidays as internet reports claimed that there was a list of wrestlers who would be given their releases soon by the WWE. Those on the RAW roster were relieved when they were asked to sign their visas for the February Japan tour since they see this as a sign they’ll be around for the tour. Those in the WWE Executive offices stated that no specifics regarding the upcoming releases have been made available, however JR has been put in charge of eliminating any salaries that aren’t seen as profitable for the company. Sources state that Tommy Dreamer is one who is said to be very nervous for the upcoming cuts.Get *ALL* the Scoop on Tonight's RAW & The Upcoming Roster Cuts + Shane's Big Bump Planned for Royal Rumble!
